1. Shipping Destinations
Continental United States:
We primarily ship to the Lower 48 states. Free Standard Curbside Delivery is included for orders shipped within the continental United States.
Canada, Hawaii & Alaska:
Shipping to Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska is available upon request. These orders cannot be processed directly through our website checkout at this time. Please contact us at office@legendirondoors.com for a custom shipping quote before placing your order.
2. Production & Delivery Timeline
All Legend Iron Doors are handcrafted and made to order. To ensure accuracy and quality, production begins only after your custom CAD door drawing has been reviewed and approved by you.
Order Cut-off Time: 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
Estimated Total Timeline:
Approximately 14–16 weeks, or 98–112 calendar days, after CAD drawing approval.
This estimated timeline includes custom production, ocean freight, customs clearance, and domestic truck delivery.
Custom Production:
Approximately 7–8 weeks, or 49–56 calendar days, after CAD drawing approval.
Shipping & Delivery:
Approximately 7–8 weeks, or 49–56 calendar days, including ocean freight, customs clearance, and domestic truck delivery.
Tracking & Delivery Appointment:
We will notify you by email and provide tracking information once your door is arranged for domestic truck delivery. The freight carrier will contact you to schedule the final curbside delivery appointment.
Please note that this timeline is an estimate and may vary due to production complexity, customs clearance, port schedules, weather conditions, trucking availability, or other factors outside our control.
3. Shipping Costs & Taxes
Continental U.S. (Lower 48): FREE Standard Curbside Delivery.
Taxes & Duties: For all U.S. orders, customs duties and import taxes are prepaid by Legend Iron Doors. The price you see at checkout is your final price; no additional fees will be collected by the carrier.
Return Shipping:
If a return is approved due to a confirmed manufacturing defect, incorrect item, or freight damage, Legend Iron Doors will cover the approved return shipping cost or provide an appropriate replacement, repair, or refund solution according to our Return and Refund Policy.
4. Packaging & Freight Method
Secure Packaging: Each iron door is carefully inspected and securely packed in a reinforced wooden crate with protective padding.
Freight Method: We use a combination of ocean freight and domestic truck transport. The final leg is handled by a trusted LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carrier.
Curbside Delivery Only: Please note that the freight carrier is only responsible for curbside delivery. Delivery personnel will not carry items into driveways, garages, or homes.
5. Delivery & Unloading Instructions
Appointment: The carrier will typically contact you in advance to confirm your final delivery window.
Inspection: You must inspect the package thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt (BOL).
Reporting Damage: Visible freight damage must be noted on the delivery paperwork whenever possible and reported to us within 3 business days of delivery.
Defective, Incorrect, Missing, or Concealed Damage: Defective, incorrect, missing, or concealed damage claims must be reported before installation and within 7 calendar days of delivery.
6. Important Unloading Requirements
Manpower: Our iron doors are heavy and large; they typically require 3–4 able-bodied persons to unload.
Equipment: Some door sizes may exceed liftgate length. Manual unloading or a forklift may be necessary.
Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange assistance or equipment for unloading at the time of delivery.
Accessibility: If your location is inaccessible (e.g., narrow roads, steep hills, or unfinished driveways), you may be required to pick up the shipment from the local freight terminal.
7. Additional Notes
Payments: Customers do not owe any payment to the delivery driver. Any tips or extra services requested from the carrier are at the customer’s own expense.
Delays: Legend Iron Doors is not responsible for delivery delays caused by extreme weather, carrier policies, or inaccessible delivery sites.

Our iron doors are built with precision using 12-gauge steel and are individually hand-forged, welded, finished, and inspected to meet our quality standards. We stand behind the durability and workmanship of every door we produce.
1. What This Warranty Covers
Legend Iron Doors warrants its products to be free from manufacturer defects in structure, glass, hardware, and finish under normal use for the following periods.
Warranty periods begin from the date of delivery to the customer.
Structural Components & Welds:
3-year limited warranty, excluding misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, and acts of nature.
Peeling, Blistering, and Cracking:
3-year limited warranty under normal environmental conditions and proper maintenance.
Glass & Hardware:
1-year limited warranty.
If a defect is confirmed and covered under this warranty, Legend Iron Doors may provide an appropriate resolution, including replacement parts, a touch-up kit, repair guidance, a replacement product, or reimbursement for reasonable local repair costs, subject to prior written approval from Legend Iron Doors.
Legend Iron Doors will cover the shipping costs for approved replacement parts or products covered under this warranty. The customer is responsible for labor costs related to removing, reinstalling, or replacing the product unless otherwise approved in writing by Legend Iron Doors.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover the following:
Installation & Handling:
Damage caused by improper installation, contractors, job-site handling, removal, reinstallation, or installation work not performed by Legend Iron Doors.
Normal Wear and Tear:
Normal wear and tear of parts that naturally age or require maintenance, including but not limited to:
Door threshold
Door sweep
Weather stripping
Seals
Minor finish aging from normal use
Finish Issues:
Damage caused by improper maintenance, lack of maintenance, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, solvents, acids, paint, power washing, standing water, or prolonged exposure to direct rain or extreme environmental conditions.
Glass & Impact Damage:
Glass scratches, cracks, breakage, or other damage caused by impact, pets, foreign objects, accidents, misuse, or improper handling.
Environmental & Accidental Damage:
This includes, but is not limited to:
Acts of God, including floods, storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural events
Accidents, misuse, abuse, or negligence
Slamming, kicking, or using excessive force
Chemicals, solvents, acids, or paint exposure
Rust or corrosion caused by improper maintenance, standing water, direct rain exposure, or harsh environments
Condensation or frost caused by climate, humidity, or temperature differences
Aesthetic Variations:
Minor variations in color, texture, hand-forged details, weld marks, or finish are normal characteristics of handcrafted iron doors and are not considered defects.
Relocation or Modification:
Doors that have been moved from their original installation site, modified, altered, repainted, repaired without approval, or used in a way not intended by Legend Iron Doors are not covered.
Please note:
Iron doors may produce condensation or “sweat” depending on climate, humidity, and indoor/outdoor temperature differences. This is normal and is not considered a manufacturer defect.
3. How to Maintain Warranty Coverage
To help keep your warranty valid, we recommend:
Keeping all moving parts clean and free of dirt or debris
Inspecting the door regularly for exposed metal, scratches, rust, or finish wear
Performing timely touch-ups on any exposed metal or rust-prone areas
Keeping the door dry whenever possible and avoiding prolonged direct rain exposure
Avoiding power washing, abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or impact from heavy objects
Using the door for its intended residential or commercial purpose
Having the door installed and adjusted by qualified professionals
4. Warranty Limitations
All doors must be properly installed in a suitable building structure.
This warranty is void if the door is removed from its original installation location, altered, modified, misused, or repaired without prior written approval from Legend Iron Doors.
Paint finishes are expected to age naturally over time. Normal finish aging, minor color variation, and handcrafted texture differences are not considered defects.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation site.
This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to delays, loss of use, labor charges, contractor fees, removal costs, reinstallation costs, or property damage, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
5. Questions or Warranty Claims
We take a fair and objective approach to all warranty claims. If you have any concerns, please contact us with your order details and clear photos or videos of the issue.
How to File a Claim:
Contact us at office@legendirondoors.com within 30 days of discovering the suspected defect.
Provide your original order number, a description of the issue, and high-resolution photos or videos showing the problem.
Our team will review the claim and respond within 3 business days whenever possible.
If the claim is approved, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include repair guidance, replacement parts, a touch-up kit, a replacement product, or approved reimbursement for reasonable local repair costs.
Please do not perform repairs, modifications, repainting, or replacement work before receiving written approval from Legend Iron Doors if you intend to request warranty coverage.
