At Legend Iron Doors, we strive to provide a seamless and worry-free shipping experience from the moment your order is placed to the moment it arrives at your location. Our goal is to ensure your custom iron door reaches you in perfect condition with clear expectations along the way.

1. Shipping Destinations

Continental United States:
We primarily ship to the Lower 48 states. Free Standard Curbside Delivery is included for orders shipped within the continental United States.

Hawaii & Alaska:
Delivery is unavailable for remote locations (Hawaii,Alaska,Puerto Rico,etc.)

2. Production & Delivery Timeline

All Legend Iron Doors are handcrafted and made to order. To ensure accuracy and quality, production begins only after your custom CAD door drawing has been reviewed and approved by you.

Order Cut-off Time: 5:00 PM GMT+8, Monday through Friday.

Estimated Total Timeline:
Approximately 14–16 weeks, or 98–112 calendar days, after CAD drawing approval.

This estimated timeline includes custom production, ocean freight, customs clearance, and domestic truck delivery.

Custom Production:
Approximately 7–8 weeks, or 49–56 calendar days, after CAD drawing approval.

Shipping & Delivery:
Approximately 7–8 weeks, or 49–56 calendar days, including ocean freight, customs clearance, and domestic truck delivery.

Tracking & Delivery Appointment:
We will notify you by email and provide tracking information once your door is arranged for domestic truck delivery. The freight carrier will contact you to schedule the final curbside delivery appointment.

Please note that this timeline is an estimate and may vary due to production complexity, customs clearance, port schedules, weather conditions, trucking availability, or other factors outside our control.

3. Shipping Costs & Taxes

Continental U.S. (Lower 48): FREE Standard Curbside Delivery.

Taxes & Duties: For all U.S. orders, customs duties and import taxes are prepaid by Legend Iron Doors. The price you see at checkout is your final price; no additional fees will be collected by the carrier.

Return Shipping:
If a return is approved due to a confirmed manufacturing defect, incorrect item, or freight damage, Legend Iron Doors will cover the approved return shipping cost or provide an appropriate replacement, repair, or refund solution according to our Return and Refund Policy.

4. Packaging & Freight Method

Secure Packaging: Each iron door is carefully inspected and securely packed in a reinforced wooden crate with protective padding.

Freight Method: We use a combination of ocean freight and domestic truck transport. The final leg is handled by a trusted LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carrier.

Curbside Delivery Only: Please note that the freight carrier is only responsible for curbside delivery. Delivery personnel will not carry items into driveways, garages, or homes.

5. Delivery & Unloading Instructions

Appointment: The carrier will typically contact you in advance to confirm your final delivery window.

Inspection: You must inspect the package thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt (BOL).

Reporting Damage: Visible freight damage must be noted on the delivery paperwork whenever possible and reported to us within 3 business days of delivery.

Defective, Incorrect, Missing, or Concealed Damage: Defective, incorrect, missing, or concealed damage claims must be reported before installation and within 7 calendar days of delivery.

6. Important Unloading Requirements

Manpower: Our iron doors are heavy and large; they typically require 3–4 able-bodied persons to unload.

Equipment: Some door sizes may exceed liftgate length. Manual unloading or a forklift may be necessary.

Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange assistance or equipment for unloading at the time of delivery.

Accessibility: If your location is inaccessible (e.g., narrow roads, steep hills, or unfinished driveways), you may be required to pick up the shipment from the local freight terminal.

7. Additional Notes

Payments: Customers do not owe any payment to the delivery driver. Any tips or extra services requested from the carrier are at the customer’s own expense.

Delays: Legend Iron Doors is not responsible for delivery delays caused by extreme weather, carrier policies, or inaccessible delivery sites.
