Most Legend Iron Doors products are custom-made to order based on customer-approved specifications and CAD drawings. For this reason, our return and refund policy is different from standard ready-to-ship products. Please review the policy below carefully before placing your order.

Return Eligibility Summary

Most Legend Iron Doors products are custom-made to order based on customer-approved specifications and CAD drawings. For this reason, we do not accept returns or refunds for buyer’s remorse, incorrect customer-provided measurements, incorrect options selected by the customer, or design changes after production has started.

We accept return, replacement, repair, or refund requests only for approved defective, incorrect, missing, or freight-damaged items. Customers must contact us before installation and within the required reporting period stated below.

Visible freight damage must be reported within 3 calendar days of delivery. Defective, incorrect, or missing item claims must be reported before installation and within 7 calendar days of delivery.

1. Order Cancellations

Before Production

If the CAD drawing has not been approved and production has not started, you are eligible for a 100% full refund.

After CAD Drawing Approval

Once you approve the CAD drawing and the order enters production, a 50% production fee will apply to any cancellation. This fee covers specialized labor, custom preparation, and raw materials already committed to your order.

After Shipment

Orders cannot be canceled once they have left our facility or have been arranged for shipment.

2. Custom Product Policy

Due to the size, weight, and made-to-order nature of our iron doors, we do not accept returns or refunds for:

  1. Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
  2. Incorrect measurements provided by the customer
  3. Incorrect options selected by the customer
  4. Design changes requested after production has started
  5. Color or finish differences caused by lighting, screen display, or natural handcrafted variation
  6. Minor handcrafted variations that do not affect normal function
  7. Products that have already been installed, modified, altered, or used

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all specifications before production, including door size, swing direction, jamb size, glass option, finish color, hardware, handle style, lock preparation, sidelights, transoms, and other custom details.

All product images on our website are for reference only. The final product will be made according to the approved CAD drawing and confirmed order specifications.

3. Defective, Incorrect, or Freight-Damaged Items

If your order arrives with a defect, incorrect item, missing part, or freight damage, please contact us at office@legendirondoors.com as soon as possible.

Freight Damage Reporting Window

Visible freight damage must be reported within 3 calendar days of delivery.

General Defect or Incorrect Item Reporting Window

Defective, incorrect, or missing item claims must be reported before installation and within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Required Documentation

To help us review your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • At least 3 clear photos of the issue
  • Photos of the original packaging and crate
  • A short description of the problem
  • Photos or video showing the product before installation, if applicable

For visible freight damage, please also note the damage on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading before signing whenever possible.

Pre-Installation Requirement

Please inspect your order carefully before installation. Installation, modification, or use of the product may be considered acceptance of the product’s condition. Legend Iron Doors is not responsible for damages or issues reported after installation unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4. Return Method and Approval Process

Do not return any item without contacting us first.

All returns must be reviewed and approved by Legend Iron Doors before the product is shipped back. If a return is approved, we will provide return instructions and the applicable return shipping arrangement.

Because iron doors are oversized and heavy freight items, return shipping must be arranged through an approved freight carrier. Unauthorized returns, self-arranged returns, or returns sent without prior written approval may not be accepted.

Depending on the situation, Legend Iron Doors may offer one or more of the following solutions:

  1. Replacement parts
  2. Repair guidance
  3. Touch-up materials
  4. Partial refund
  5. Replacement product
  6. Approved return and refund

5. Return Shipping Costs and Fees

Defective, Incorrect, or Freight-Damaged Items

If the issue is confirmed to be caused by Legend Iron Doors or by freight damage during delivery, Legend Iron Doors will cover the approved return shipping cost or provide an appropriate replacement, repair, or refund solution.

Non-Returnable Custom Orders

Custom-made products are not eligible for return or refund due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect customer-provided measurements, incorrect options selected by the customer, or customer-requested design changes after production has started.

Restocking Fee

No restocking fee applies to approved returns for defective, incorrect, or freight-damaged items.

6. Refund Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Once a refund is approved, Legend Iron Doors will process the refund within 5–7 calendar days. Please note that your bank, credit card company, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
