1. What This Warranty Covers

Legend Iron Doors warrants its products to be free from manufacturer defects in structure, glass, and finish under normal use for the following periods:

Warranty periods begin from the date of delivery to the customer.

Structural components & welds: 3-year limited warranty (excludes misuse, unauthorized modifications, and acts of nature).

Peeling, Blistering, and cracking: 3-year limited warranty under normal environmental conditions.

Glass & hardware: 1-year warranty.

If a defect is found and covered under this warranty, Legend Iron Doors will replace the defective product or send the spare part and the touch-up kit, and reimburse reasonable local repair costs subject to prior written approval from Legend Iron Doors. Legend Iron Doors will cover the shipping costs for replacement parts or products covered under this warranty. The customer is responsible for the labor costs of removing the defective item and installing the replacement.

2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover the following:

Installation & Handling: Damage caused by contractors, improper installation, or removal/re-installation not performed by Legend Iron Doors.

Normal wear and tear to:

Door threshold

Door sweep

Weather stripping

Finish Issues: Damage due to improper maintenance or extreme chemical exposure.

Glass & Impact: Glass scratches, breakage, or other damage caused by pets or foreign objects.

Environmental & Accidental Damage:

Acts of God (floods, storms, earthquakes, etc.).

Accidents, misuse, or abuse.

Chemicals, solvents, acids, or paint.

Slamming, kicking, or using excessive force.

Condensation or scale inside doors due to cold climates or humidity.

Aesthetic Variations: Variation in color, texture, or finish as part of the door’s hand-forged, one-of-a-kind character.

Relocation: Doors that have been moved from their original installation site.

Please note: Iron doors may produce condensation or "sweat" depending on climate and humidity levels. This is normal and not considered a defect.

3. How to Maintain Warranty Coverage

To keep your warranty valid, we recommend:

Keeping all moving parts clean and free of dirt or debris.

Performing regular touch-ups on any areas with exposed metal or rust.

Using the door for its intended residential or commercial purpose.

Avoiding abrasive chemicals or impact from heavy objects. 

4. Warranty Limitations

All doors must be properly installed in a building structure.

Warranty is void if the door is removed from its original installed location.

Paint finishes are expected to age naturally; this is not considered a defect but part of the authentic appearance of handcrafted iron. 

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation site.

5. Questions or Warranty Claims

We take a fair and objective approach to all warranty claims. If you have any concerns, please contact us with your order details and photos of the issue. We will respond to all claims within 2-3 business days.

How to File a Claim:

1. Contact us at office@legendirondoors.com within 30 days of discovering the defect.

2. Provide your original order number and high-resolution photos/videos of the issue.

3. Our technical team will review the claim within 3 business days and provide a resolution (repair, replacement, or spare parts).
